Digital Wave Technology is an exciting emerging solution and Gen AI provider with an underlying unique, extensible platform helping our customers to differentiate, and expand market share while improving top and bottom-line growth. We are expanding globally and headquartered in Florida satellite offices in India and Europe. This position is U.S.-based and remote. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY  

The Pre-Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting sales engagements for a variety of industries. While Digital Wave’s core roots have traditionally centered around Retail and Consumer Goods, we are expanding our sales efforts in other industries. This role requires a creative mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve. A strong technical skill set, and an in-depth working knowledge of business processes will be required in this role. The Consumer Industries Pre-Sales Specialist will work with different Account Executives crafting selling strategies, building personalized demonstrations, and helping customers to experience the power of Digital Wave’s product and technology portfolio. Developing and experimenting with new AI use cases will be an exciting aspect of this role. In addition to creating personalized demonstrations, the Pre-Sales Specialist will support software pilots, educational sessions, and the creation of product-related marketing assets. This is an incredible opportunity to influence Digital Wave’s selling strategies while driving growth through lead generation and revenue achievement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible and measured in assisting Sales teams to achieve quarterly lead generation and revenue goals. 

  • Develop personalized demonstrations to support sales cycles: loading customer data, creating Generative AI use cases, and developing customized workflows. 

  • Create and deliver exceptional virtual and in-person demonstrations using new techniques and methods to ensure demonstrations are entertaining and engaging for customers. 

  • Conduct and lead discovery sessions, educational workshops, and pilots. 

  • Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations, and be able to discuss data integration requirements, security protocol, general data requirements, and all technology standards supported by Digital Wave. 

  • Find new and exciting ways to incorporate Generative AI use cases across the solution and technology portfolio. 

  • Work daily with various technical and business personas who will range from end-users to executives during customer sales cycles. 

  • Work daily with Digital Wave team members representing Marketing, Consulting Services, R&D, and Product Management who are supporting sales efforts and industry events. 

  • Engage with Digital Wave’s Product Management to articulate product gaps and help influence software design. 

  • Work across multiple time zones and occasionally outside office hours. 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree. 

  • At least 8+ years of software Pre-Sales experience 

  • Understanding of PXM, Pricing, or Merchandise Intelligence solutions 

  • Exceptional presentation skills both virtually and in-person 

  • Strong technical knowledge with business process awareness 

  • Generative AI hands-on experience 

  • Inquisitive, curious, and creative 

  • Strong critical thinker & problem-solver 

  • Positive mindset, team-oriented 

  • Strong listening skills with the ability to apply learnings to customer engagements and demonstrations
