Deborah Weinswig:
What can Digital Wave do to help companies in the near, medium, and long term? How are you seeing customer partnerships evolve, and what should we be thinking about that we might be missing?
Lori Schafer:
Another loaded question—but a great one!
In the near term, it starts with picking just one area—any area—and asking: how can we automate this? We’re focused on quick, measurable ROI. We take customers from idea to implementation to value in just 30 to 60 days. That’s our sweet spot.
In the midterm, we shift to laying the foundation for scale. Maybe we started with one process or a handful of users. Now it’s about scaling that solution to more users, more categories, more regions. For example, some customers start with five categories and, once that’s live, scale up to 500.
At the same time, we’re always working with senior executives to build a long-term roadmap. That includes showing them how a unified data strategy can support multiple processes across the enterprise over one to two years.
Right now, we’re in the middle of completely transforming two organizations—both over $100 billion in revenue—by overhauling their core processes in just 18 months. It’s complex work, but that’s what enterprise transformation is all about.
So in short:
Start with a fast, impactful proof point
Scale it across categories or users
Then expand it across solutions for end-to-end unification
